SENSORIAL RE-EDUCATION is new to the US; it is a body-mind tuning approach that evolved from osteopathy in 1980s France.   Classes introduce students to 300+ slow, gentle, movement sequences that explore how the body moves through space to maintain balance and ease in the execution of ordinary gestures.  The aim is to awaken perception of a slow, autonomous and rhythmic inner movement that permeates the body’s tissue matter and organizes optimal biomechanical activity.  Classes explore the vast learning potential in ordinary gestures – their amplitude, rhythm, velocity, the qualities of their orientation, unfolding and affectivity – through a growing awareness of this inner movement.  This work is ideal for anyone seeking inspiration and stillness through movement as well as movement-based alternatives for stress, pain and illness management.  All are welcome.

SENSORIAL RE-EDUCATION can support the following:
• Relief from Acute & Chronic Pain
• Joint Mobility & Habit Awareness
• Bone & Tissue Health
• Balance & Spatial Orientation
• Stress Relief, Vitality & Emotional Wellbeing
• Inner Silence & Stillness

Fee – you can register* for a series or register* each week as a drop-in:
$20 per class in a series
$25 per class for drop-ins

*Important Note: even if you choose to pay via check or cash in class, you will still need to register online.

Drop-in Policy:
Drop-ins are welcome.  First-time students are also welcome but should contact Kesha (kefikes@gmail.com) before attending.  It is recommended that students commit to a series.   An effective practice for beginning students requires diligent, on-going perceptual training.  Drop-ins are required to register online before attending.  Please register at least 24-hours in advance.

Enrollment Policy:
This class is limited to 6 participants.   More classes will be added as the first class fills.  If you register for the class, but the class is already full, please be sure to place your name on the waitlist.   If at least two people are on the waitlist another class will be added, immediately.  Please be sure to register at least 24-hours in advance so that there is time for scheduling.
